Process
Scientific American invited me to illustrated their "Artificial Imagination" article, dealing with the different ways AI can reach ways of thinking that are closer to ours. My idea was to draw a robot designed solely to think, a quite Asimovian take on the subject. To reflect this purpose I tried to make it seem very fragile, with a plastic or glass skin and its brain floating inside its head like a nucleus.
Here's a video of the sketching process, from thumbnails to clean up.
